Printed in China

Martin Lemke:
Ich habe mir einen neuen Roberts Field Guide gekauft; was soll ich sagen ... printed in China.

Raffaele Falato:
Ciao Martin,
I also intend to buy the new Guide, but now your post confuses me.
Does the phrase "printed in China" have the same meaning in Germany as in Italy? That is: stay away.

Jonathan Neumann:
Printed in China was english, not german.

Tobias Bauer:
What Martin was probably trying to say that he is astonished that a field guide about British spiders is printed in China.

Raffaele Falato:
Thanks, now I understand.  :)
