Hello, today I found this male Phylloneta (~3.5mm) in the south-west of the Netherlands.

I have almost no experience with Theridiidae genitalia, and I find it hard to see the differences between P.sisyphia and P.impressa...

best wishes, Frank

And sisyphia (https://arachno.piwigo.com/index?/category/382-phylloneta_sisyphia) for comparison (knowing what it isn' t and why is also important ;) )

Hello, thanks to the both of you, and for the explanation! Indeed, the impressa bulbus is longer than that of sisyphia.

P.impressa is the rarer species of these 2, in the Netherlands, so it's a nice find!

thanks again, Frank
