Gorgoglione, Province of Matera, Basilicata, Southern Italy.
Date of discovery: December 15, morning, sunny.
Habitat: 950 m - on the door of a church in the countryside. Presence of varied vegetation, small pine and oak forest.
Dimensions: approx. 5 mm.
Good morning.
This specimen of
Pardosa does not seem to me to belong to the group lugubris. It (I can't tell if male or female) has dark palps with light rings. I remember that
morosa and
tatarica have this characteristic, but they live in humid environments and
tatarica does not exceed 500m above sea level.
The place of the discovery is at 950m above sea level and there is no water.
What do you think?
Thanks.
Raf
