Clubiona sp.? => Porrhoclubiona cf. leucaspis

Gorgoglione, Province of Matera, Basilicata, Southern Italy.

Date of discovery: December 18, late morning, sunny.
Habitat: 800 m - about 1 km from the village, under a stone of a long low wall on the side of the road; on the other side of the barrier there is a ravine with young oaks and vegetation.
Size: about 3-4mm.

This spider is a young male of Clubiona sp. or am I wrong?

Depends on the author - some would say yes, other would say no. This is what is now known as Porrhoclubiona, maybe leucaspis???

Yes, leucaspis fits perfectly, both in terms of description (oval without pigments in the posterior area of ​​the opisthosome - wiki) and habitat.
The other Italic species do not seem to me that they have a similar oval, I also took a look on the web.

that's true for the specimens in our wiki, but the oval pattern is even part of the Key in Bosmans et al. 2017:

Abdomen dorsally with short anterior median stripe and with contrasting pale oval area on posterior half (Figs 35, 36); spermathecae
small, separated by their diameter or more (Figs 39–41) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . C. leucaspis

So, the cf. is very small. It is very probably leucaspis.
